The earliest kind of sushi, a dish now called narezushi, has its possible origin with paddy fields alongside the Mekong River of what's now south-western China, Myanmar, Laos, and Thailand. Narezushi in historic China is 1st documented around the 4th century, in the event the Han Chinese migrated so
